What Is SVibe? Meet the Brand Rethinking the Rabbit Vibrator

What Is SVibe?

Before SVibe was SVibe, it was Snail Vibe.

The original Snail Vibe became known for an unconventional dual-stimulation design inspired by ergonomic movement rather than the familiar rabbit silhouette.

The company says its early mechanical and ergonomic concepts drew inspiration from the work and sexual wellness theories of sexologists including Dr. Helen Kaplan and Edward Eichel.

After the SVibe Curve received the O Award for Best Powered Product, CEO Egor Sharapkin explained that the company realized the Snail Vibe name could no longer contain all of its ideas and plans for future innovation.

On September 11, 2024, Snail Vibe officially became SVibe. The rebrand represented something bigger than a new logo. SVibe wanted room to develop products for different bodies, experiences and forms of intimacy instead of being defined by one original design.

Today, the company has expanded well beyond that first product, but you will still see the word Snail throughout the lineup. That's the technology family that started everything.

So... What's With the Snail?

This is where things get interesting.

Traditional rabbit-style vibrators usually have an insertable portion paired with a smaller external arm. In theory, that allows internal and external stimulation at the same time.

However, because human bodies aren't built from the same mould, a fixed external arm doesn't necessarily stay exactly where someone wants it once they start moving.

SVibe approached the problem differently.

What Is Slide'n'Roll Technology?

Slide'n'Roll is designed to help the Curve's external Shell maintain contact as the body and toy move. Think of it less like a traditional fixed rabbit arm and more like a moving contact point.
